Paladin Launches City of Fife, Wash. on SMARTGov
City of Fife to convert to SMARTGov from Interlocking legacy software
Paladin Data Systems Corporation announced City of Fife, Wash. has launched the SMARTGov software platform, Paladin’s community development software that manages the full lifecycle of any permit, inspection, license, or code enforcement action for jurisdictions.
City of Fife represents yet another former Interlocking customer to convert to SMARTGov. Paladin has implement its cloud-based technology at City of Fife to track all aspects of zoning and codes including permit issuance, inspections, code enforcement, and will implement its public portal for self-service public access.
“It is great continuing our long-term partnership with City of Fife in delivering cloud-based SMARTGov for permits, inspections, code enforcement, health, and licensing. SMARTGov increases the city’s efficiencies and offers robust citizen access,” said Jeff pavey, a Paladin Sales Executive.
As noted above, Fife will deploy SMARTGov’s online Public Portal, which is a significant addition to the city’s ability to serve the public, acting as a full-featured extension of its front counter services. Using the portal, the public can research local building trends, apply for a permit, view maps, pay fees, submit digital architectural drawings, request inspections, and even review public notice postings in a 24/7, self-help environment.
Fife is a city in Pierce County, Washington. A suburb of Tacoma, the population is just under 9,300 with a total area of 5.83 square miles.
SMARTGov is a web-based software application developed by Paladin Data Systems to support community development functions including permitting, planning, inspections, code enforcement, licenses, fees, parcels, contractors and many others. SMARTGov is configurable, flexible, and interactive. It allows community development users the ability to prioritize projects, manage workflow, communicate with other departments, and work more efficiently. While typically deployed as a cloud-based service, SMARTGov can be deployed on-premise and gives both citizens and jurisdiction staff access to project data on the web 24/7. Paladin offers a 30-day trial of SMARTGov software at no cost or obligation.
