Paladin was founded in 1994 by three former Lockheed Martin employees: Jim Nall, Gary Macy and Bob Johnston. These highly skilled and knowledgeable engineers provide Paladin with a well-balanced leadership team and work hand-in-hand with our staff to provide our customers with the highest quality of service. Our executives understand the importance of maintaining a good quality of life for our staff and have created a culture that fosters employee contribution and creativity.
Jim Nall – President and Chief Executive Officer
Jim Nall has been the President and CEO of Paladin since co-founding the company. Jim is a consistent proponent of local activism within Washington State and spearheaded the development of Paladin’s EKO-System (Environmental Knowledge Organizer) product, which was designed specifically for the Natural Resource industry to manage conservation projects. Prior to Paladin, Jim worked in the US Navy fleet ballistic missile (FBM) program with Lockheed Martin for 15 years where he served as Project Leader and Senior Systems Architect on three mission critical projects at the Strategic Weapons Facility – Pacific. Jim has served the Puget Sound Naval Bases Association as former President and board member at large.
Robert (Bob) Johnston – Executive Vice President
Bob Johnston provides the vision and operational oversight for Paladin’s off-the-shelf product lines including EKO-System, Panoramic, InterLocking Software and the SMARTGov family of products. Bob is a highly skilled business executive, information systems analyst and database application developer with over 25 years experience. He understands the unique needs of our state, local and federal government clients from both a technology and business perspective. Prior to co-founding Paladin, Bob worked at Lockheed Martin and Oracle.
Dan Burton – Chief Operating Officer
Dan Burton joined Paladin in 2008, and is responsible for providing oversight to sales, marketing and delivery operations for the products division. Dan’s mission is to expand Paladin products into new markets while ensuring supporting systems are in place to provide world-class services and support. With over 26 years of experience in sales, delivery and portfolio management, Dan has led large teams in outsourcing and project related work at EDS, an HP company, including virtual teams across diverse locations.
Gary V. Anderson -Chief Financial Officer
Gary began his career with Ernst & Ernst (now Ernst & Young) in Tacoma. While a Director of Audit and internal auditor, he had the opportunity to work in savings and loan institutions, industrial distribution and retail enterprises in the northwest. He was Chief Financial Officer for a $150 million Michigan-based investment in sustainable timber management and real estate development. Gary has owned and managed several CPA firms. He is a founder and director of Liberty Bay Bank in Poulsbo. He joined Paladin in 2008.
